Woodland Tutors

We are now recruiting self contractor Woodland Tutors to help deliver Woodland Learning sessions. You will join a friendly, supportive team of tutors and be contracted to deliver  programmes of learning on our behalf. We have sites in Cambridgeshire (Hardwick, Willingham, Chatteris and Grafham) and Bedfordshire (Bromham) operating through the week and we welcome applicants for these areas.  Sessions are usually a half day, sometimes a full day, sometimes two half day sessions on the same day so the schedule is flexible to suit your availability. We have a range of learners all with varied programmes, some Forest School, some Outdoor Learning so the work is never dull. Please see our Wage bands and pay scales for information on rates of pay.

Woodland Assistant

We are recruiting Woodland Assistants to work in a supportive role alongside the Woodland Tutor . This role will be based in Bedfordshire (Boreham) and/or Chatteris. The role is similar to the Woodland Tutor in that you will be integral to the sessions and assist with planning and delivering sessions but with less responsibility for overall running of the programme. Sessions are usually a half day, sometimes a full day, sometimes two half days on the same day so the schedule is flexible to suit your availability. The work is varied and always interesting and this role is ideal for those who want to build their experience and skills in the fields of SEND and Woodland Learning and learn teaching and behaviour management skills on the job. Please see our Wage bands and pay scales for information on rates of pay.

All applicants must have knowledge about and experience with working with SEND, a passion for learning and a love of the outdoors, experience of working with individuals or groups and ideally some sort of bushcraft or Forest School qualification. Please see individual job spec for exact details.
